1st Place High School Hero Award - Blood Drive

1st Place - Blood Drive

GP is proud to announce that the Coastal Bend Blood Center at its annual banquet awarded 4 of GP’s own students the High School Hero Award for their dedication to helping our community raise awareness and blood for those in need.  The winners were Annelie Geldenhuys, Phoebe Sezer, Cailey Solis and Hannah Wilson.  They helped motivate our school to collect 713 units of blood.  These ladies hearts truly show how much they care as they have decided to take the $2000 Walmart gift card (given to the school that won 1st place in 5A for most units collected) and they are going to divide it between the 5 cancer survivors that were the focus of this year’s blood drives.
